OUR BEGINNING AND HISTORY

In 2004, Jo Ann A. Iduma’s anger, rage and formidable fury resulted in the end of a 7 year marriage. Rather than wallowing in self-pity or recrimination, Jo Ann rose above the anger and rage to honestly search her soul and face her own demons, head on.
This journey of her prophetic healing was the opening to her destiny. While on a trip to the Holy Land (Israel) to pray for peace, soul-cleansing and forgiveness, her purpose in life was revealed to her, the creation of THE JAA Foundation Inc. “The metamorphosis for my life came when I acknowledged that it was me who was in need of prayer and healing and not the loves ones around me.”
Jo Ann was born and raised in the teeming community of Northwest-Baltimore, and now calls home Gaithersburg, Maryland. She has a college degree in Food Administration & Business Administration. Her expertise in the social service field does not flow from being a social worker or therapist, but from life’s experiences forged through “hard knocks” and trial and error, which is most often the best teacher. She has enhanced this experience by intensive research, studying and taking anger management workshops and seminars. Ms. Iduma is a missionary on a crusade to reduce and heal the anger in her own heart and in the hearts of so many women in our community.
